Steve McClain
Steve (pronounced Stuh-eev) McClain is a lifelong Michigander and Life and Success Coach with more than two decades of experience across several industries including automotive, healthcare, IT, corporate training, etc… A master trainer, communicator and instructional designer, Steve, has trained and coached for several Fortune 100 companies and several Detroit area startups including McKesson, Ford Motor and locally the not-for-profit, Henry Ford Health Systems, just to name a few. That includes 1,000's of CEOs, entrepreneurs, business staff, doctors, nurses, dietitians and other health care workers. Steve has done his share of public speaking and presented talks on the importance of knowing your story, developing your business and pursuing your formula for success at entrepreneurial events such as Detroit Startup Week and more.
During the last two decades, Steve has built a successful career as a trainer, coach, mentor and teacher specializing in curriculum design and personal development. He is not afraid to dig deep and get to the core of a persons limiting beliefs and help them conquer their challenges and fears. Steve is also attuned to the various learning methods of his students and often will improvise when a student needs an alternative approach to instruction.
Steve obtained his BS from Eastern Michigan University. He is a certified Instructional Designer and holds an Achology Life Coach certification. A husband and dad of two empowered girls in training, Steve lives in the suburbs about 30 miles north of Detroit. Steve is active in supporting community entrepreneurs with his girls by frequenting the local farmer's markets. His favorite authors are J.D. Salinger, Richard Bach and Dan Millman. Music is a huge influence in Steve's life and his favorite band is Rush, that is, if he is forced to pick just one.
